Keepers Fellowship Campout

Our first annual campout is fast approaching.  We have the Live Oak group site out at Lopez Lake from the 17th (check in after 3pm) to the 20th (check out before 11am).  This will be a very informal event, other than to bring some things that you want to experiment with and share with others, whether it is food or skills.  Mostly this will be a fun time of fellowship and storytelling.  This will be open to everyone, including younger kids.  Share any ideas for the campout!  Here are some good ones:

1) Water purifier taste tests.  We can grab a bucket of water from the lake, and try different purifiers for taste (living on the edge, right?)

2) Basic orienteering challenge (maybe include a prize).  [bring a compass]  The would be the "pirate" version of larger distance navigation...but cover the basic skills.

3) Product reviews...I have a Biolite BBQ that claims to charge your phone while it cooks your meals.  How well does it work?  I aim to find out.

4) Long distance communications (setup my HF radio and try out some antenna ideas)
