Christ in us, hope of glory,

Is a hidden mystery.

God’s Word calls it the greatest,

In our human history.

To think that Christ, the Lord of all,

Would come and dwell in us.

As helper, friend and lover,

Is amazing, marvelous!

Lord – open up our eyes, enlighten us,

That we would come to know,

All we are in You, dear Lord,

And how to let You grow.

To let You have a way in us,

To be our hope, our Head.

Not in or from ourselves, dear Lord,

You ruling us instead.

Refraining from vain talking –

It’s truly unbecoming.

But giving thanks and offering praise,

By speaking, praying, humming.

Singing songs of praise and worship,

To You, our Lord and King.

You’re the One who’s living in us,

To be our everything!

                                           Amen
