REPENTANCE AND FAITH

To repent means to change your mind and attitude about sin, so that you turn from your sin and turn to God for forgiveness and cleansing.  Repentance literally means to reverse directions.

FAITH

Faith is the confident expectation of the things we hope for and the conviction of things we cannot see.

e)    Faith gives us victory over the world and its problems – 1 John 5:4

True repentance and faith are inseparable.  They are mutually dependent upon each other (Mark 1:15).  True repentance is a choice that is made by a heart that believes God’s Word.  Repentance and faith is the fruit of the obedience of your heart (Rom. 6:17) (Rom. 1:15).
